KT Recycling, a family owned and operated steel scrap recycling yard which recently opened a new yard in Macon, GA is recruiting buyers to expand our market presence in the central Georgia region (including Atlanta). We are looking for highly motivated individuals who enjoy a competitive challenge, can project a professional image, have strong organizational skills, and are looking for a long term opportunity.

Unlike many jobs in the industry, we offer performance-based milestone bonuses (~$12K) during the training period, modern equipment and tools, and a generous commission structure. We are new to the Macon area, and look forward to growing with you! Our compensation is based on an industry-specific commission structure, and a $40K+ target would not be unreasonable for a successful agent after the first year - though like any new role, it will take some time to build up your account book enough to get there.

Initial responsibilities (after a short training period) include contacting prospective suppliers, visiting job sites to provide price quotes and help strengthen existing customer relationships, and dealing with any issues that arise on pricing, logistics, payment, etc. for your accounts.

Our ideal candidate is someone looking for a growth role, who is comfortable with technology, and preferably who has some existing sales experience. However, we provide complete industry training, and are willing to consider any candidate who can demonstrate commitment.
